The Amazon’s Curse

by Gena Showalter

short Novella Ebook only

eHarlequin

Overall rating: 5

This book was exclusive to Amazon via Kindle users (at the time) I bought this book. It was a quick read and really added to the conclusion to the ending of The Vampires Bride, book four of the Atlantis series.

Zane, a fierce vampire warrior, has been enslaved by the Amazons. Nola, a lovely Amazon soldier, has been cursed with invisibility.  Now, these two stubborn enemies must overcome the pasts that haunt them and embrace a love that can set them free…

I really enjoyed this short book, well novella, not really a book length book. As I was saying, this was a great story. It had the closure we needed with Zane and Nola. We found out what happened after the end of book 4 and what might happen with book 5. (I find it hard to discuss this without giving away spoilers from the previous books. Its beginning to sound like I am a mafia man trying not to say too much, sigh.) So, like I was saying its a good quick read. Maybe a bag of popcorn and a soda but that would be all. Its not too dramatic but has lots of emotion and compassion, which the Amazon women are not really known for. So drop by Amazon or where ever ebooks are sold and pick this one up. It won’t be available in print format until May 2010 in the book INTO THE DARK. Which will also have two other of Gena’s short novels in it. Darkest Prison and Darkest Fire.
